T-shirts We can only guarantee race t-shirts to the first 7010 registered participants. T-shirt sizes cannot be reserved in advance and are not guaranteed even though sizes are recorded on your registration. A variety of adult and youth sizes will be ordered and distributed at pre-regsitration events and on race day on a first come, first serve basis. Please pick up your packet early for best size selection as we tend to run out of shirts on Race morning. Directions to RiverTown Crossings Mall: From Muskegon/North: Take I-96 south. Take Exit 24 right towards Walker. Merge onto M-11 east (Ironwood Dr). Turn right onto ramp of I-196 west towards Holland. Take Exit 67 left on to 44th Street. Head east 1.2 miles to mall. From the East and or Highway 131 (44th street is Exit 79): From 131 head west 5 miles on 44th street to RiverTown Mall. Please plan to arrive at the race by 7:30am on Race Day to avoid traffic back-ups. Some roads will be closed due to the Race Course. Parking Hotel Accommodations

Some will be presented from the stage and the rest of the medals will be given at the awards table located by the Information booth. Race times will be posted after the Race near the stage area. They will be available online at 4 pm on Race Day at: http://www.classicrace.com/races/index.html
Registration: Registration will be held INSIDE the mall on the 2nd floor in the food court in front of the Celebration Cinema Theater. You can register here and pick up your Race packets including your T-shirts, bibs and Champion Chips. SURVIVORS will be picking up their Race packets at the Survivor Tent. Participants in the 5K Run/Walk events will line up on the RiverTown Crossings Mall ring road heading west. Runners should line up based on their perceived mile splits. Walkers, please let the runners go to the front of the line. We recommend that families with strollers take part in the Community Walk, but if they are going to be on the 5K course, please line up behind the other participants for safety’s sake. The 5K Run/Walk will be led by a Pace car and bicyclists will be on the course with radios. Runners please keep to the right along the Race course. At least one lane of all roads on the course will be open to participants. Please follow the coned driveway through Grandville High School. This Race utilizes mat to mat timing this year! Results will be posted on boards near the stage area as soon as they are available as well as on our website www.komengr.org after 4pm on Race Day. Food and Water will be available to all participants as you head back to the upper north parking deck for post-Race activities. The tables on the right and left will both have the same food items, so please form two lines for faster service! IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE AT ANY TIME PLEASE FIND A RACE COMMITTEE MEMBER, VOLUNTEER, "ASK ME" VOLUNTEER WEARING A BRIGHT ORANGE VEST OR PROCEED TO THE INFORMATION BOOTH LOCATED NEAR THE MALL ENTRANCE ON THE DECK! Aid Stations: Medical assistance will be available along the course and at the information booth. Information Booth: Will be located near the mall entrance on the upper north parking deck. You’ll find maps and knowledgeable volunteers to help! Look for volunteers wearing orange vests roaming around as well. Komen Shop: Come and shop our wonderful assortment of pink ribbon products and more! Door Prizes: NEW THIS YEAR! Door prizes numbers will be randomly drawn prior to the Race and winners will be posted at the information booth on Race Day. You must be registered by Wednesday, Sept. 22nd to be eligible. Winners can claim prizes at the information booth on Race Day. There is no need to tear off the door prize drawing tab from the race bib. A select few door prizes will be awarded from the stage. Race Numbers & Chips: Wear race bib numbers on the front of your shirt. Participants in the Timed 5K event must wear their timing chip. These are disposible and do not have to be returned. Teams: Team members can use the Team Lounge as a gathering place for Team members to meet before and after the race. Team photos will be taken here as well. Port-A-Potties: Will be located at the far end of the upper north parking deck as well as at the halfway mark along the course. Emergency Procedures: In the event of an emergency on the Race course, go to the nearest road marshal and they will get help. All police, course officials and emergency medical techs will have radio communication. The American Medical Response Team will be stationed at Orion High School on Canal Ave. Grandville Fire and Rescue will be in lower level north parking area by JC Penney. Mile Markers: Mile markers and timers will be located at every mile with timers giving out splits throughout Race. Water will be available in front of Costco and at the halfway point. UPS Bag Drop: If you don’t want to carry your race goodies with you while walking or running, check them in at the UPS Bag Drop located in the JCPenney parking lot near the start of the Race. Your personal items will be labeled and stored for you but must be picked up by the close of the awards ceremony. I AM THE CURE: Keep your eyes open for our Cure leaders along the race course. They have special messages for you! After the Race visit the I AM THE CURE tent marked with green balloons for some special surprises!
