Celebration Dinner

In celebration of life, a special dinner honoring breast cancer survivors will be held on Thursday, October 7th, 2010.  Please note the dinner this year will again be held after the Race in October rather then the Thursday night prior to the Race.  Family, friends, and all Race participants are encouraged to attend. It will be held at the Crossroads Banquet Center at the Holiday Inn Express located at 6569 Clay Ave SW (US 131 and 68th Street) Grand Rapids, MI 49548.  Appetizers will be served and the silent auction biding will begin at 5:30p.m. followed by dinner and the presentation at 7:00p.m. Dinner reservations are required as space is limited.

A brief program will be held along with a special award presentation. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Steve Littell and the Sweet Adelines.  There will be exciting silent auction items to bid on for the cause!  All breast cancer survivors will be honored with a small gift as well as opportunities to win fabulous door prizes. Plan to be a part of this wonderful evening to celebrate how far we have come in the battle against breast cancer!

Reservations can be made online or by sending in the number attending along with a check to our Komen Office at 710 Kenmoor SE Suite 130, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Reservations must be made by Wednesday, September 29th.  Your name will then be included on the RSVP list at the door.

Dinner price is $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for breast cancer survivors.  This is an evening you won't want to miss!
